It is the mission of Caminos Del Arte to educate our youth, through mentoring, counseling, performance, and cultural programs. We leverage existing networks and resources to help youths reach their highest potential, and instill in them leadership skills that will last a lifetime.
We invite any group to be part of our effort.
Caminos del Arte, the East Salinas Arts group which provides free art, music, and dance classes in low income areas of Salinas, also puts on four community Arts Festivals each year. Hear Ruth Hermosillo, Francis Nolder and Nicolasa Alvarez explain how they do it. It's all about unity. That's why they are the Arts Council for Monterey County's 2011 Non Profit Champion of the Arts
