Mariachi CDA

Mariachi CDA is a performing group that started in July of 2010 to encourage and preserve the music and culture of Mexico. Mariachi
CDA was established to promote family oriented activities and instill
in children an appreciation of cultural pride for traditional music.

Nicolasa Alvarez - Executive Director

Mrs. Alvarez a traditional Mariachi singer brings a combination of skills in therapeutic music intervention to be able to reach youth in our community.   Mrs. Alvarez assists with viguela and vocal instruction.

Arcadio Ledesma Mariachi Director – Mr. Ledesma is a member of Mariachi Salinas.  Mr. Ledesma is very skills in all type of mariachi instruments such as trumpet , guitarron, viguela and violin. He started his music career at Plaza Garibaldi in Mexico City at the age of 10. He has performed with numerous festivals and events around Monterey County.

Jooseu Madriagal - Mr. Madrigal assists with viguela and guitar instruction.
